How I got started IN HYPNOSIS:
In 2001 my father in-law woke up with back pain. He discovered he had cancer. His pain was an 8 out of a ten every day with medication. I said to myself how I can I help this man that I love so much? I found Patrick Coleman on News Channel 4 in Oklahoma and he explained how he could teach people to turn off their pain signal with hypnosis. Patrick changed my life; with hypnosis I got my father in-law’s pain down to a 3 or 4 without medication. In my practice I have found that 20% of my patients never have their pain return after one session, 65% are able to control their pain with teaching them self-hypnosis. Around 15% of the population is super analytical and need to first learn how to pretend. I have them put their hand in a buck of ice and feel the cold. Then have them dry off their hand and use self hypnosis to feel the same sensations using hypnosis. Most pain patients need three sessions. I have over 60 techniques for pain control. If they work at this technique for 15 minutes a day for 30 days they will control their pain. I only work with pain patients with a referral from their doctor. I also install a suggestion that if they try to push themselves to much the pain will return. When it returns they use self-hypnosis to control it again.
Hypnosis is a natural state of selective, focused attention, and, even though it is 100% natural and normal, it remains one of the most fascinating phenomena of the human mind. Our ability to enter this unique state of consciousness opens the door to countless possibilities for healing, self-exploration and change. Hypnosis, called by different names in different cultures and times (prayer, meditation, daydreaming and the zone in sports), has been recognized for thousands of years and used for many purposes. There are only four brain waves, beta, alpha, theta and delta. Hypnosis, prayer, meditation, daydreaming and zone access the alpha thru theta brain waves in different ways. Hypnosis with an induction, prayer with concentration, daydreaming with visualization and the zone with repeating a particular movement that gives us a good feeling.
When we enter into the absorbed state of hypnosis, we can use our thoughts, talents and experiences in ways not usually available to us. With my help we can develop innate, changes in your thoughts, feelings and behaviors. For reasons that are as yet not clear, the focused state of hypnosis allows changes to intentionally be made “automatically”, changes that we could not ordinarily consciously make. With my hypnotic personality tests 99% of the population can be hypnotized. Only people with very low IQs can’t be hypnotized.

Emotional Freedom Technique
(E.F.T.) EFT is a form of acupuncture without the needles. It is acupressure simplified for very specific uses. It is something that you do to yourself by pressing with your fingers on specific areas of your face and hands. It is simple and easy to learn. A child can learn it in less than five minutes. This is a gentle physical experience that you do to yourself. It is actually quite fun to do and a highly effective adjunct to hypnosis.
Is a form of forgiveness therapy, based on relationships with others and the world. The patient forgives themselves and others not that they agree this what the person did, but to let go themselves.
Root Cause and circle therapy:
Finding out when and why the patient starting feeling this way. Once the root cause is found we circle from the good feeling back to root cause until it is dissolved. Most times this is accomplished in two sessions.
What does a session Feel like?
You sit comfortably reclined in an easy chair in a softly lit office.
As you listen to my voice with your eyes closed, you find your body relaxing more and more.
The voice talking to you gradually becomes more distant, and you even find yourself forgetting that it is there... but somehow the soothing voice continues to affect you, gently and almost automatically.
As you relax even further, your awareness of where you are, why you are there, and who is speaking to you, recedes into the back of your mind. Allowing the voice to act on you, and with enjoying this state of profound relaxation and deep calm...
